BIRDccNEST

BIRDccNEST (pronounced “bird’s nest”), for "BI-directional RegDiffusion Cell-Cell Networks EStimating Trajectories”, is an efficient alternative framework for characterizing cells and defining trajectories in scRNA-seq data by inferring directed cell-cell relationship networks. These networks are then transformed into cell flow networks describing directed relationships between cell-cell communities, naturally giving interpretable trajectory data and characterizing subgroups of cells.
